Why Support VisionCorps?
VisionCorps is the only local nonprofit in our service area to provide highly trained, certified staff to teach people who are blind daily activities like crossing the street, using a computer, and continuing their favorite hobbies, like reading. Less than 10% of VisionCorps’ expenses are paid for with government funding. A majority of the $1.5 million it costs to provide these services – free to clients – is fulfilled by donations from the community. Will you support us so that we can continue changing the lives of your friends and neighbors living with vision loss?
