Listen to a book being read and then discuss with fellow clients!
Miranda Golden leads this weekly group. Clients listen to a chapter or a selection in a book and then discuss it. The books are chosen by the group and have a connection to people who are living with vision loss or blindness. A recently read book was Thunder Dog, the true story of a man who is blind and, Roselle, his guide dog, who was a hero during the September 11 World Trade Center attack, leading her owner and others to safety.

Dog Guide users and potential dog guide users discuss topics related to dog guides.

Led by Jennifer Eaton and Katarina Eller, the group spends the first half-hour listening to a topic and discussing it for the rest of the time. A veterinarian was a recent guest who discussed general nutrition updates for dogs.
