Custom Presentations Tailored to Your Group’s Needs
In-Service Training
VisionCorps staff routinely provides training sessions to businesses. Training could include human guide, general etiquette, prevention, access technology, and more. Let our experts teach your team how to effectively work with people who are blind - whether they be customers, coworkers, or residents in short or long-term care facilities.
Service and Community Organizations
VisionCorps often speaks to community groups such as Lions Clubs, Rotary Clubs, business associations, and church groups. These presentations can be a general overview of VisionCorps’ impact in their community or specific to a certain service offered. Presentations can be done where the group meets, or groups can opt to meet in their closest VisionCorps facility to receive a tour where available.
Virtual Presentations
Virtual presentations are available for civic groups, businesses, or other organizations interested in learning more about VisionCorps and our services. The programs, which can be individualized based on the needs of the group, include information on vision problems, living with low vision, employing people with low vision, and tips for living independently with blindness or low vision.
