The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is primarily responsible for all aspects of staging, shipping and receiving process for all of York production while acting in accordance with the company values, vision and mission.
Ships and receives all raw materials and finished goods
Schedules and/or manages all inbound and outbound shipments
Stacks, stores, stages, and palletizes all raw materials and finished goods in a safe and efficient manner.
Maintains all required paper and electronic documents in accordance with company and ISO 9001 requirements and procedures
Communicates with Finance Department and Production Planning Manager on a regular basis to support production goals and maintain supply levels of all raw materials and finished goods
Maintains high levels of warehouse and general housekeeping standards
Conducts and assists with periodic inventory counts and audits
Scans inventory and raw materials using handheld barcoding equipment
Prints and applies labels
Manages and assists the packaging, staging, and warehousing of raw materials and finished goods
Generates and distributes pick slips and packing slips
Communicates with team leaders to ensure production goals are met
Maintains all required paper and electronic documents in accordance with company and ISO 9001 requirements and procedures
Assists Production Planning Manager as required
Observes and supports all company ISO quality standards
Other Job Functions:
Participate in monthly Department meetings
Participate in Company events
Keep up to date on all trainingAny other duties or special projects assigned by the Production Planning Manager

•Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
•Experience in a production or warehouse setting preferred
•Experience with ISO 9001-2008 preferred
•Must be authorized to work in the United States
•Forklift pallet jack training required
•Basic computer and data entry skills required
•Valid Driver’s License is requiredWorking Conditions
•Primarily works in semi-temperature controlled production area
•Travels to other locations as needed
•Periodic use of company vehicle is required
Physical Demands
•Ability to verbally communicate with others
•Light to moderate physical effort required
•Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
•Regularly required to stand, walk, reach and move around machinery
•Required to operate machinery
•Required to operate pallet jack• Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and forearms
• Prolonged use of hand held electronic and desktop computer equipment is required
